Long before celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Mila Kunis started their movement to encourage more women to break into crypto, Flori Marquez was already on her way to becoming one of the youngest female founders at the helm of a multi-billion-dollar crypto finance firm
The co-founder of BlockFi, who was featured in Forbes’ 30 under 30 list last year alongside crypto billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried, said she started the firm because she “imagined the possibility of accessible financial services for my relatives in Argentina.”
As the daughter of Argentinian immigrants, Marquez grew up speaking Spanish and English, which she said have helped her learn how to view the world from two different lenses at a young age.
